Retrieves the signature and initial assets for a user.
Overview
This endpoint returns the default signature and initial marks associated with a user account. These assets are used during document creation and signing processes.
Authentication
- Bearer Token: Required. Pass the user token in the Authorization header.
- x-api-client: API client identifier header.
- x-api-signature: API signature header for request validation.
Query Parameters

email | Optional | The email address of the user whose signature/initial to retrieve. When not provided, returns the signature of the authenticated user. |
iframe_token | Conditional | Required when the email parameter is provided. Token for iframe authentication. |
xt | Conditional | Required when the email parameter is provided. X-token for additional validation. |
Response
Returns the user's signature and initial assets including their type (drawn, uploaded, or text) and associated metadata.
Error Codes
401 Unauthorized: Invalid or missing authentication token.403 Forbidden: Insufficient permissions to access the requested user's signature.404 Not Found: No signature/initial found for the specified user.
